A new non-alcoholic beer from Corona, Corona Cero, is offering Irish consumers more options for navigating the festive period and creating a balanced new year. Brewed with 100% natural ingredients, Corona Cero promises a taste as refreshing as Corona Extra, but without the alcohol. This new addition is part of Corona’s commitment to cater to consumers’ evolving tastes and preferences.

The new addition supports the growing trend towards mindful drinking. Sales of zero-alcohol beer were up 25% last year, with the market share for non-alcoholic beer quadrupling in just five years – showcasing the nation’s desire for more choice. The launch of Cero aligns with this evolving landscape, allowing consumers to enjoy the social aspect of having a drink without compromising their wellness goals.

Colin McGough, manager, Corona Cero Brand, said: “Corona has always been an invitation to enjoy more of life’s great moments outside, with close friends and a beer in hand – of course, there are many occasions where we don’t want to consume alcohol while we do this. Corona Cero is about offering consumers even more choice and being responsive to the changing needs of our customers – all while staying true to our natural ethos.

“As the market for non-alcoholic beverages continues to grow, Corona is at the forefront, offering a quality product that caters to this demand. With Corona Cero, we’re excited to continue upholding our reputation for creating refreshing, high-quality beers that consumers love.”
