Great Place to Work has named Tesco Ireland one of 22 Best Workplaces for Women in Ireland for a third consecutive time.

In February, it was confirmed that Tesco was officially certified a Great Place to Work 2021 for the fourth consecutive year, with the official rankings due to be announced later this week.

A leader in food retail, Tesco is one of the largest private-sector employers in Ireland, employing over 13,000 colleagues across the country in its network of 151 stores, head office and distribution centres. Tesco offers colleagues market-leading rates of pay and benefits for the food retail sector.

“We’re very pleased to have been recognised as a Best Workplace for Women in Ireland yet again this year,” said Kari Daniels, CEO, Tesco Ireland. “We’re a diverse organisation and committed to continuously developing our business as an inclusive workplace with equal opportunities for all. Our colleagues make us the organisation we are today and we’re proud to be recognised for being a positive and supporting workplace for women.”

Tesco is a member of the 30% Club Ireland, a voluntary group of businesses dedicated to boosting gender equality and diversity in the workplace. Tesco offers a rewarding career in retail, from its leading benefits and rewards programme to an open and welcoming inclusive culture, and opportunities to vary career roles whether in stores, office or distribution.
