Good old Irish weather is unreliable at best, so Avonmore's latest campaign aims to promote Super Milk as a source of vitamin D when the sunshine doesn't do the trick.

While Ireland may not be known for its weather – especially at this time of year, Avonmore’s latest advertising campaign aims to highlight the importance of sunshine as a source of Vitamin D.

The above-the-line campaign focuses on that very fact: we need our Vitamin D from a source other than the unreliable Irish weather. So then, where better than Avonmore Super Milk, which contains all the “daily sunshine” we need, in just one glass.

The new campaign will encompass TV, radio, online and outdoor advertising, reinforced with social and in-store activity. Avonmore’s ongoing sponsorship of the RTÉ weather bulletin will also highlight the campaign.

“The new commercial dramatises a much-talked-about topic in Ireland” says Tim Ryan, head of marketing for Glanbia, “with a few smiles along the way too of course!”
