Maxol has annoucned a special event to mark the opening of its latest outlet at Dublin’s Longmile Road. This Tuesday 14 February, visitors to the new forecourt and convenience store will be able to sample lunches and other snacks from Maxol’s ‘Moreish’ food brand, along with other treats from Insomnia and Chopped, the site’s other food franchises. The Longmile Road is the second Chopped offering to open within the Maxol Group, following the introduction of the healthy food brand to Maxol M3 Mulhuddart Services last summer.

There will be other activities in-store on the day also, with Spin 1038’s “Spinnies” dropping by to offer gifts and goodies, while Ray Shah provides musical entertainment.

Maxol Longmile Road is part of the company’s expansion in the Greater Dublin area which also includes Maxol N7 Kill and Maxol Greenhills Road. Maxol was cleared by the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) for the acquisition of these three service stations last year, all of which were previously owned by Esso.

Thomas Ennis, Maxol licensee at Maxol Longmile Road said he is delighted at the latest development. “The transformation is great to see and we now offer our customers pay-at-pump convenience services,” said Ennis, “along with a top-quality range of food solutions for all times of the day with a focus on fresh and healthy offerings.

Maxol Longmile Road has 32 fully trained staff. “We are looking forward to the journey ahead, and meeting our new custromers from next week,” Ennis added.
