The opening date for the new Maxol Donabate in North East Dublin has been delayed until 4 May to allow for final adjustments.

Gerard Ralph, licensee for Maxol Donabate explained: “We want to make sure our customer offering is absolutely on point before we open the doors. It’s important for us that everything is running smoothly and efficiently. A lot of time and effort has already gone into making Maxol Donabate a superb convenience destination with Maxol’s latest two-story building design. It’s more important for us that it’s right from the outset so to do this, we decided to allow some extra time for those finishing touches.

“I am delighted to say we’ll be ready to greet our first customers on the morning of 4 May,” he added. “The customer has always been our focus and we can’t wait to see their faces when our first class facilities are revealed. I hope this comes of reassurance to the local community in Donabate, and I’d like to thank everyone for their patience while works have been underway.”

The new-look Maxol Donabate follows an extensive refurbishment and investment of €2 million. The development will offer a particular focus on quality food service with the latest Maxol Mace convenience store, Bewleys Barista Bar and a brand new ‘Moreish’ fresh food café.

The new service station has been developed by Weslin Construction.
