Topaz recognised as a Great Place to Work for 11th year, while Paul Candon receives Ambassador Award

Topaz has been recognised as one of the Best Workplaces in Ireland for the 11th time. This year Topaz claimed 11th place in the list of Best Large Workplaces in Ireland in 2016. Topaz, which was acquired by the Couche-Tarde Group, late last year, is once again the only fuels and convenience retailer on the list. In addition Group Corporate Services Director Paul Candon received the ‘Great Place to Work Ambassador Award 2016’. Eason Spelling Bee announces partnership with Today Fm’s Anton Savage show

Eason has announced a media partnership with Today FM’s Anton Savage Show for this year’s sixth annual Spelling Bee, with Anton taking on the role of Spelling Bee Master. Dada one of biggest growing wine brands in Ireland

Dada wine has become one of the biggest growing wine brands in Ireland in the short space of just nine months since its introduction to the Irish market by Comans. Reports from big chain stores right through to independents have revealed demand is outweighing supply as the popular wine, retailed at just €10, has become a favourite among customers. Gary O’Donovan, of O’Donovan’s off-licence and chairman of NOffLA, confirmed DADA is becoming a strong seller, stating: “Dada is a very easy-drinking, opulent red and retailing at around €10, it’s a bargain for customers looking for quality at a reasonable price.”

Timetoact Uses Talend to integrate data at Pernod Ricard

Talend, a global leader in big data integration software, has provided a technological platform for standardised reporting and planning tasks at the Pernod Ricard Wine and Spirits group. Timetoact, an IT services provider, developed a comprehensive extraction, transformation and loading (ETL) system to integrate various data sources with the central data warehouse in order to create one master record of all files.
