The Force is strong as Gala teams up with Disney on Star Wars launch

Gala has supported Disney in helping to create a landmark Lightsaber at Dublin’s Spire, to mark the arrival of the most anticipated movie of the year – Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Unilever Food Solutions launches festive gingerbread challenge

Unilever Food Solutions (UFS) has launched a Christmas challenge for nursing homes around the country to help spice up the festive season. The competition, launched at the Nursing Homes of Ireland conference, is a search for the best gingerbread house. To take part, nursing and care homes, and their residents, must submit a photograph of their team working together to build their gingerbread house, along with their best tip when it comes to baking for elderly residents. Prizes include an exclusive baking demonstration at the winning care home with TV chef and author, Catherine Fulvio.

Teeling Whiskey Distillery Fires up First New Pot Stills in Dublin and welcomes 25,000 visitors in 2015

2015 has been an excellent year for the Teeling Whiskey Company (TWC), which has welcomed over 25,000 visitors through the doors of its distillery since opening in Newmarket Square on 9 June. The first distillery to open in Dublin in over 125 years also scooped its first visitor experience award in September, winning the ‘Experience of the Year’ as accredited by the highly acclaimed, Luxury Travel Guide. In addition to the successful opening of its Distillery, the Teeling Whiskey Company has won 15 prestigious awards for its whiskey this year including World’s Best Irish Single Malt at the WWAs.

Carlsberg Christmas Tree is giving Cassidy’s customers the gift of free beer! 

If Carlsberg did Christmas trees they would give the gift everyone wants this festive season – free pints of Carlsberg!
