Love Irish Food has launched its fifth annual Love Irish Food Brand Development Awards, which include the opportunity for one member brand to promote its brand with an €80,000 ad campaign courtesy of Exterion Media, the market leader in outdoor advertising.

The winners of the award will see one Love Irish Food member brand receive €70,000 in advertising space across Exterion Media, along with a €10,000 creative bursary towards the winning campaign.

Love Irish Food and Exterion plan to work closely with the winner to plan a campaign that will optimise its business objective and move it to a new level of consumer awareness. Kieran Rumley, exectutive director at Love Irish Food, said his organisation is very proud of the Brand Development Awards.

They’re reflective of our core belief,” Rumley said, “which is to promote and support Irish manufactured food and drink brands. Last year’s winners, Rye River’s McGargles brand was the standout choice from the entries we received.  We are looking forward to another strong response from members again this year.

“These awards provide smaller Irish brands with the opportunity to advertise to Irish consumers on a national level,” he added, “giving them a huge opportunity to connect with their target audience and take their brand to the next level.”
