As part of Lidl Ireland’s commitment to supporting local communities for A Better Tomorrow, the retailer today confirmed that local charity St. Vincent De Paul has availed of more than €220,000 worth of discounts in 2024 through Lidl’s Charity Gift Card programme.

Gift cards

Lidl’s programme enables registered charities across Ireland to purchase Lidl gift cards, which work in the same way as standard Gift cards with the added option of restricting alcohol sales, for a discounted price.

Gift cards can be redeemed in any of Lidl’s 183 stores across Ireland.

St. Vincent De Paul

As the largest, voluntary, charitable organisation in Ireland, St. Vincent De Paul provides practical support to those experiencing poverty or disadvantage and, through Lidl’s Charity Gift Card Programme, the charity has provided shopping vouchers to service users across the country.
