Ambrosia rallies the taxis for special needs children

For the 49th consecutive year family favourite, Ambrosia, gathered legions of taxi drivers to raise money for special children

Now in it’s 49th year, the Ambrosia Special Children’s Taxi Day saw over 1,400 special needs children and nearly 700 Dublin taxi drivers converge on Parnell Square on Tuesday 9 September to get the festivities started.

The convoy of balloon festooned taxis was waved of by Lord Mayor Cllr Éibhlin Byrne, after a cheque presentation from Ambrosia to the Dublin Taxi Drivers. Monies raised go towards buying special needs equipment for over 40 special needs centres around Dublin
