Dunnes opens new 76,010 sq foot store
Dunnes' new Roscrea store to create 160 new jobs for local people

Dunnes Stores has opened its seventh store in Co Tipperary. The Roscrea site on the Matlvale Gaol Road is 76,010 square foot and has resulted in the creation of 160 new jobs for the area.
Covering a wide offering in grocery, textile and home, the new store also offers 300 car parking spaces and a restaurant, Café Reflect. Opening hours are 8.30am to 7pm Monday to Wednesday, staying open until 9pm on Thursday and Friday and 8.30pm on Saturday.
Grocery manager and local woman, Catherine Purcell says that so far the store has been very well received: “We have received a warm welcome and much support from the people of Roscrea for the creation of 160 new jobs in the area as well as opening a brand new and very spacious store carrying a large range of products across the grocery, textiles and homewares sectors at great better value prices”.
Dunnes Stores in Roscrea marked its opening day on 6 November with a host of celebrations and special offers. “I am very proud to present our new store where we will continue to deliver the Dunnes Stores ‘Better Value’ promise of low prices, high quality and choice to the people of Roscrea”, said Purcell.
