Aldi, the German supermarket chain with more than one hundred outlets across Ireland, has launched its annual All-Ireland Angus Bull Calf Championship. The event, which aims to find Ireland’s finest Bull Calf, comes in conjunction with ABP Ireland and the Irish Angus Cattle Society.

The Aldi All-Ireland Angus Bull Calf Championship has a total prize fund of €17,500, which makes it one of the biggest events of its kind in Europe.

Six qualifying events will take place nationwide, before the prize winning bull calf is named winner at the Iverk Show, Pilltown, Co. Kilkenny on Sunday 27th August.
