Propercorn cracks the nut craze

SuperValu announces partnership with animal welfare and autism expert

Dr. Temple Grandin (C) in ScallyÕs SuperValu in Clonakilty, with Tony O'Donovan and his wife Theresa SuperValu has announced a partnership with animal behavior specialist and autism spokesperson Dr. Temple Grandin. Dr. Grandin, who is a Professor of Animal Science at Colorado State University, was in Ireland this week to advise SuperValu and its beef suppliers on current best practice in animal welfare. During her visit, Dr. Grandin will also gain insights into some of SuperValu and Centra’s autism initiatives. As part of her two-day visit, Dr. Grandin visited farms in Co. Cork and Co. Tipperary to better understand current farm practices and advise on possible improvements  to current standards.

HB Hazelbrook Farm launches Ice Cream Fundays campaign

Former Westlife star and 2fm presenter Nicky Byrne started the summer in style today with Ireland’s favourite ice cream as he launched this year’s HB Hazelbrook Farm Ice Cream Fundays campaign in aid of Down Syndrome Ireland (DSI). Nicky was joined by Alan Ryan (6) from Stepaside and Sorcha Maguire (5) from Balbriggan to celebrate the first annual Ice Cream Funday of 2017 and to call on people across Ireland to join in the fun and help a worthy cause by organising their own ice cream party this May or June. Kinetic Teams Up With IT Tallaght For Fourth Consecutive Year 

Kinetic, the global leader in activating audiences on the move, has teamed up with IT Tallaght for the fourth year running to task third year Marketing and Advertising students to create an Out of Home (OOH) advertising campaign.  Students were briefed to build an eye-catching OOH campaign that would persuade advertisers and agencies of the benefits of OOH advertising. Following presentations to a judging panel on Thursday, 4th May, the winning team was announced as Barry Finan (Blessington), Roisin Ryan (Blessington), Emma O’Dowd (Lucan), Tadhg Redmond (Cabra), and Aoife Flynn (Lucan).
