SuperValu gears up for bumper pumpkin sales with Donnelly Fresh

SuperValu is gearing up for a busy Halloween. with Bord Bia approved Irish pumpkins grown locally by Irish supplier Donnelly Fresh.
Established in 1979 by Anthony and Brian Donnelly at Smithfield fruit market, Donnelly Fresh, based in Co. Dublin, grows quality and nutritious Irish crops in a sustainable manner.
Embracing the vibrant hues of autumn, Donnelly Fresh proudly supplies a captivating array of pumpkin varieties to SuperValu stores across Ireland. Notably, its orange pumpkins (Boomer, Flynn, Harvest Moon) are ideal for carving, while its Ghost pumpkins (white variety) add a distinctive touch to any decoration.
In a press statement, SuperValu said: “At SuperValu, we recognise the environmental, social and economic benefits that come from supporting local and buying Irish produce. When customers choose to support local and Irish produce, for every €1 that is spent on Irish goods, €5 comes back to the Irish economy.”
