Healthy options a major focus in new Limerick Centra, which has created 25 jobs

A state of the art Centra store has opened its doors in Mount Kenneth on the Dock Road, Limerick. Driving local employment, 25 new jobs have been created at the new Centra which opened today.
The Centra store has undergone a major refurbishment, with the aim of becoming a destination for great food on-the-go in Limerick. The new store offers convenient healthy alternatives that aim to transform shoppers’ experience, either to grab and go or relax in the sit down area.
Casey’s Centra have an existing award winning Centra store on Dock Road which has been successfully serving the Limerick community for the past 10 years. Store manager, Kevin Foley, said the team is delighted to “support the community of Limerick by creating and sustaining 25 jobs” and “immensely proud to be bringing this new concept Centra store to the local people”.
Tempting new ranges in-store include a new hot carvery sandwich offering, a gourmet deli counter, a new coffee range and bakery treats. A comfortable sit down area along with free Wi-fi has also been introduced to the store.
Another significant draw in the store is the wide selection of gourmet hand-prepared sandwiches, salad plates and healthy snacks in the ‘Grab and Go’ fridge which is the first point of contact when the customer enters the store.
The store will open from 6am to 12 midnight, Monday to Saturday and from 7am to 11pm on Sundays.
