Jack Daniel’s celebrates 150th anniversary with launch of first-ever Worldwide Whiskey Barrel Hunt

In celebration of the 150th anniversary of the Jack Daniel Distillery, Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey has announced a Jack Daniel’s Barrel Hunt which will take place in Galway, Cork and Dublin throughout September 2016. The Galway Barrel Hunt will be the first to take place in Ireland on Thursday, 8 September 2016. Barrel Hunts will also take place in Cork on Thursday, 15 September and Dublin on Thursday, 22 September. Jack Daniel’s will provide clues through the Jack Daniel’s Ireland Facebook page (www.facebook.com/jackdanielsireland/), encouraging fans to find hidden whiskey barrels in each location on the day of the Barrel Hunt.

Improved product and makeover for KittenSoft ‘Adorably Soft’ range

Gala searches for red carpet reporter

This year sees Gala Retail and the Irish Film & Television Awards enter a second year of partnership for the IFTA Gala Television Awards. New for this year’s campaign is the introduction of the Gala red carpet reporter – a nationwide search for a budding young presenter to present from this year’s IFTA Gala Television Awards in October. To take part, entrants have been invited to submit a 60 second video to the @Gala_Retail Twitter account explaining why they should be selected. The winner will receive expert training and receive a video show reel of their presenting from the night.

Barry & Fitzwilliam distributing Hugo Spritz in Ireland

Barry & Fitzwilliam now represents Hugo Spritz, a refreshing cocktail beverage, in Ireland. Available to both the on–trade and off-trade, this sparkling and fresh drink, the ‘Hugo Spritz’ cocktail is made from The Hugo beverage with prosecco, elderflower and mint (5.5% ABV).
