Deliveroo places ‘Strange Things’ on the menu

Deliveroo has teamed up with Dublin eatery Brother Hubbard to mark the return of much-loved sci-fi horror series Stranger Things, by adding themed creations to the menu. The new offerings include Eggo Waffles, “PB & Jelly” sandwiches, Thousand Island Sauce, Chipotle Slaw and more slices of Americana. The new offerings are priced at €11 (yes, Eleven euro) and are available for delivery now.

Frank and Honest announced as sponsor of Irish basketball

Frank and Honest Coffee has unveiled its new sponsorship programme of Ireland’s under-18 men’s national basketball team. The deal comes at a strong time for the sport in Ireland; the U18 team placed third in its league last year and has been promoted for the 2019 season. The team will next compete at the FIBA Men’s Under 18 European Championship Division B in Romania this month. Basketball Ireland’s commercial manager, Conor Meany said Frank and Honest fits really well with the U18 Irish team. “It’s a young, growing brand,” Meany said, “and we can’t wait to share the journey to the U18 European Championships with them.” To learn more, visit the tournament’s official site.

Diet Coke lovers celebrate the launch of The Diet Coke Book Club

Diet Coke fans including Amy Huberman, Darren Kennedy and a host of others gathered in Iveagh Garden Hotel to celebrate the launch of The Diet Coke Book Club. The Diet Coke Book Club is series of six book club events designed to encourage the nation to take a moment to relax, unwind and enjoy a selection of great reads that prompt sparkling conversations. More than 50 guests attended the evening event and were greeted with ice cold Diet Coke and new flavour addition Diet Coke Twisted Strawberry at the Diet Coke bar along with a feast of tasty treats. The evening culminated in an interview with Amy Huberman hosted by Darren Kennedy.
