Nestlé partners with Sky Store for sharing bags promo

Nestlé has teamed up with digital movie retailer Sky Store for a brand new on-pack promotion in which consumers are rewarded with a €7.99 Sky Store Buy & Keep movie voucher, in return for collecting four promotional packs from its range of best-selling sharing bags. The promotion, which launches nationally this month, will feature on KitKat Bites Milk, KitKatBites Peanut Butter, MilkyBar Giant Buttons, Aero Peppermint Bubbles, Smarties, Munchies, Rowntree’s Fruit Pastilles and Rowntree’s Randoms.

Kerrygold launches first new Irish advertising campaign since 2010

Kerrygold has launched its first Irish advertising campaign since 2010.  The advert, Memories in the Making, centres on “the link between generations of family members and how we pass on the lessons we learn.” The advert celebrates memories and experiences “shared with the people that matter to us, that make us who we are. From generation to generation, we pass on the lessons we learn, creating bonds that tie families together.”

SuperValu’s 120,000 Halloween pumpkin bonanza

SuperValu has predicted that it will sell upwards of 120,000 Irish pumpkins this Halloween, for cooking, carving and the all-important spooky Halloween display. Suitable for both cooking and carving, the hand-harvested pumpkins are now available in SuperValu stores across Ireland, with retail prices starting from as little as €2. SuperValu’s pumpkins are produced by five local growers, with the very first seeds planted in April to allow for picking by mid-September – just in time for Hallowee.
