Mace has kicked off its latest video series – ‘Mace in conversation with Johnny Sexton’ to mark the group’s latest partnership with the Ireland, Leinster and Lions star playmaker.

The new series is aimed at offering health and well-being support for families and friends during lockdown and explores the transition back to International Rugby for the upcoming fixtures.

It will air during the Six Nations and Autumn International competitions during this month and next.

This new digital and social media campaign marks the renewal of Mace’s award-winning partnership with Sexton and features a series of chats with Johnny about a range of topics including how he coped with life during the first lockdown; the importance of community, healthy eating and the return to rugby.

“We are very delighted to continue our relationship with Johnny as the face of Mace for another two years,” said Daniel O’Connell, Mace sales director. “He is Ireland’s premier sports figure and we are really benefitted hugely from our partnering with Johnny to date. I’m really looking forward to another two years of this partnership.”

This new two-year partnership will see Sexton continue as the face of an ambitious advertising campaign to be launched later this year, including significant national advertising across TV and radio, POS, digital, VOD and social media executions focusing on the retailer’s deli, bakery and fresh food offerings.
