Ireland International soccer star Stephanie Roche was on hand to help unveil Londis’ third annual sponsorship of the gruelling Hell & Back race, as well as its new charity partner. The symbol group is partnering up with Pieta House for ‘Hell & Back for Joy’, giving those who fancy the thrilling challenge even more of a reason to sign up.

Hell & Back is Ireland’s toughest physical and mental endurance challenge. Every year it attracts thousands of participants for a series of adventure events suitable for children and adults. The first Hell & Back series will take place on 15 and 16 June. Before and during the event, Londis will raise funds for charity partner Pieta House and aims to attract record numbers to raise money for a worthy cause by participating.

Stephanie Roche said she was thrilled to work with Londis once again on the Hell & Back event, in particular now that Pieta House is charity partner. “This challenge gives people the chance to push themselves mentally and physically as well as have a fantastic day out,” she said. “Good luck to everyone, and don’t forget that Londis will be there at the finish line to offer a little piece of heaven to all after going through Hell!”

Londis has worked with Pieta House for several years, mainly on the ‘for Joy’ fundraising events such as ‘Jump for Joy’, ‘Climb for Joy’ and ‘Cycle for Joy’. These events have raised hundreds of thousands of euro in vital funding for the suicide prevention charity.
