The newly launched Leap Card has now gone live on the Payzone retail payments network. Launched by the National Transport Authority, the Leap Card now provides a new integrated transport ticketing system for the greater Dublin area. Public transport users will now be able to purchase and top up their Leap Card at more than 350 authorised Leap Card agents (Payzone outlets) across Dublin and online at www.leapcard.ie.

The National Transport Authority estimates that in time there will be close to 250,000 users of the Leap Card annually. It is expected that this level of usage should provide an opportunity for Payzone retail agents that support the Leap Card to enjoy a new and increased revenue stream to their business.

For detailed information on fares and other aspects of the Leap Card, please visit www.leapcard.ie.
