Keelings celebrates Irish strawberry season
Keelings is supporting Irish strawberry season with nationwide availability and a major summer marketing campaign

Irish Strawberry Season is in full swing, and Keelings is bringing its fresh & juicy Irish Strawberries to consumers.
Traditionally, the Irish season runs from May through to mid-September.
However, due to the improvements in growing techniques and advancements in technology, Keelings supply Irish strawberries from mid-March right through to November.
Production
Keelings Irish Strawberry production in the glasshouses starts in March, then into outdoor tunnels from late May and back into the glasshouses in the Autumn.
The Keelings story stretches as far back as 1926, when the current farm was first established, the first Irish strawberries being planted in 1937.
Fast forward to the present day, approximately 200 million strawberries are grown each year on the farm in North County Dublin.
Keelings produce 100% tabletop strawberries, a method of growing strawberries that limits the build-up of pests and diseases, thus ensuring the highest quality strawberries.
Overall, growing 591 linear kilometres of crop, Keelings continue to invest, ensuring they provide the earliest, latest and tastiest Irish berries for consumers to enjoy.
Keelings Irish Strawberries are now available nationwide.
Keelings will be supporting the Irish Strawberry season with an integrated marketing campaign including TV, YouTube, Radio, Digital Audio, in-store point of sale, in-store Sampling partnerships, OOH and Social media live this May.
In conjunction with Bord Bia, Keelings aim to support the entire season throughout the Summer to ensure consumers are excited and join in celebrating the freshest, tastiest, juiciest strawberries of the year – Irish Strawberries.
