Easy Tiger (Eblana Beverages) is launching another new addition to the RTD category. Jambaloo is a sparkling infusion of five spiced bitter orange and ginger, infused with premium Scotch whiskey. Based on a traditional Indian recipe, Jambaloo incorporates the authentic spiced flavours of India while combining it with premium Scotch whiskey to create a unique and sparkling taste.

Spirit drinkers want premium ingredients and bold, interesting flavours and the likes of lemongrass, ginger, botanicals and bitter flavours are particularly popular. Jambaloo contains 4.5% alcohol presented in a 75cl bottle and is made in Ireland. It has been developed in response to the rapidly growing interest in brown spirits amongst a younger female audience.

Jambaloo is quite a dynamic offering and aims to breathe new life into the RTD category. Rebecca Tidey, brand manager for Jambaloo said research shows, “Move over vodka, whiskey is having better luck with the ladies these days, abandoning vodka in favour of the brown stuff”. While whiskey has long been considered a man’s drink, a hangover from the early days of Scotch, Irish and American whiskey, the stigma has changed. The whiskey category is experiencing rapid growth due to innovation and the induction of new drinkers – and they’re not just men!
