Centra is top winning convenience retailer at 2020 Great Taste Awards

Convenience retailer, Centra, has claimed 35 accolades at this year’s Great Taste Awards, making it the number one award winning convenience retailer in Ireland.

Centra’s wins include 17 products from the Inspired By Centra range which helps make everyday moments special and includes something for everyone, ensuring that even if you are short on time, you don’t have to be short on taste or quality.

The Great Taste Awards, organised by the Guild of Fine Food, is the acknowledged benchmark for fine food and drink.

Inspired By Centra confirmed its position as the number one premium range in a convenience retailer with its 17 awards which includes Inspired By Centra Maple Syrup and Inspired By Centra Greek Feta, both were awarded two stars. Inspired By Centra 48 hour marinated Rotisserie Chicken, Inspired By Centra Raspberry Jam, Inspired By Centra Butter Chicken Masala, Inspired By Centra Buffalo Mozzarella, Inspired By Centra Freshly Squeezed OJ and Inspired By Centra Mini Mince Pies were all awarded one star awards.

Centra is known for its convenience and plenty of products that make life easier scooped awards including Centra Gourmet Sausage Roll with Black Pudding, Centra Crème Fraiche and Centra Ham and Brie Quiche.

Since its launch in 2018 the Inspired Range, which uses the highest quality home grown ingredients from trusted suppliers, has proved very popular with customers so we are thrilled to see the recognition of this through these awards.”
