Four Celebrities performed live on the Late Late Show on 19 December in order to raise funds for charity, as part of The Late Late Show/7Up Christmas on Ice “Celebs on Ice Special”. The four celebrities performed a routine live from the ice rink in the RDS, with a live link to Pat Kenny in studio, where none other than Boyzone were on-hand for some expert commentary.

Model and beauty columnist Lisa Murphy, sponsored by HB Hazelbrook Farm, took part in the challenge and raised much needed funds for Down Syndrome Ireland. Each sponsor committed €15,000 to each of the celebrity’s charities. 7Up gave €15,000 to the winning celebrity, meaning that a minimum total amount of €75,000 will be raised for charity. A percentage of the money raised from the phone and text votes will also go to the four charities.
