Following on from its launch in 2007, Jameson Rarest Vintage Reserve, the ultimate expression of the Jameson collection, has received numerous international accolades and achievements from highly prestigious spirit competitions and influential whiskey critics.

In the 2009 edition of the Whiskey Bible, the most recognised whiskey book in the industry, Jameson Rarest Vintage Reserve was named Irish Whiskey of the Year by internationally renowned whiskey critic Jim Murray.

The whiskey bible is one of the most respected and well-known titles in the industry with over 3,750 whiskies from around the world tasted, analysed and rated.

“We are honoured to receive this prestigious accolade,” commented Barry Crockett, Jameson Master Distiller, “Jameson Rarest Vintage Reserve is our rarest and most exclusive whiskey to date, we have used our oldest and rarest stocks to create and showcase the ultimate expression of Jameson craftsmanship.

In the past year alone Jameson Rarest Vintage Reserve has won a Double Gold medal, was voted Top Irish Whiskey at the prestigious 2008 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, and was voted Irish whiskey of the year at the prestigious 2008 Malt Advocate whiskey awards.
