PayzoneBuilding new revenue streams for retailers

Payzone, Ireland’s largest consumer payments network, was delighted to be selected among the finalists of the 2011 ShelfLife Convenience Store Awards. Voted for by retailers, Payzone was listed among the top 10 retail technology suppliers in Ireland that support retailers with products and services that work to drive sales, increase footfall and deliver overall value.

Payzone has been working hard on behalf of its network of retail agents throughout the country to rollout a broader product portfolio of retail add-on products. Today, the company has firmly established its position as Ireland’s largest and most competitive branded consumer payments acceptance network with over 1,500 Payzone outlets, providing an innovative, efficient and economic service for its customers.

Among its portfolio of payment products are mobile top-ups, tolling payments, credit and debit card processing, bill payment, pre-paid debit cards and electronic gift solutions. Most recently, Payzone has announced the introduction of a top-up payments solution designed to support the rollout of modern pre-payment meters (PPMs) in the gas and electricity markets and the company is supporting the smart card point-of-sale network for the National Transport Authority’s Leap Card, providing a new integrated transport ticketing system for the Greater Dublin Area.
