Wine distributor Febvre and Company limited has introduced Febvruary, a month-long series of events across Ireland billed as "wine discovery".

Throughout February, the Febvreuary events taking place up and down the country will include wine tastings from Febvre and Company’s portfolio, as well as allowing attendees to meet visiting winemakers, attend educational seminars and learn about the latest in global consumer wine trends for 2016.

For each working day through February, Febvre will present 21 still and sparkling wines for the trade to taste. These tastings will take place at the company’s bespoke showrooms in Sandyford Industrial Estate in Dublin. There will also be a demonstration of Verre de Vin Wine by the Glass technology, which keeps wine fresh for 21 days after opening.

Furthermore, Febvre also plans to show its full range of Spiegelau Glassware  and EuroCave cabinets. To attend, contact your Febvre representative or call the company on 01-216-1400.

Louis Fabrice LatourOn 2nd and 3rd February, Dante Cecchini of Italian winemaker Castello Banfi will host The Tuscan Lifestyle tastings in Dublin and Galway respectively, while Louis Fabrice Latour (pictured), 11th generation winemaker for the producer established in 1797, will host a special event about the Twelve Wines that tell the story of his family’s company.

Later in the month,. Fiona Beckett of matchingfoodandwine.com will be around Ireland explaining how seasoning can affect wine choice.
