During this exceptionally busy time in the grocery trade, when dedicated teams all along the supply chain and in-store are working non-stop to keep shelves stocked – alongside caring for customers and staff with the introduction of a raft of new measures in-store to support the wellbeing of our communities – ShelfLife would like to join with An Taoiseach and shoppers across the country, in thanking and congratulating our colleagues on their herculean efforts to keep serving Ireland during these challenging times.

Given the immense pressures retailers are currently facing in this unprecedented climate, we would like to reassure you of our support from the entire team here at ShelfLife, in whatever way we can help.

Throughout all the changes rapidly taking place throughout our industry – from dedicated shopping hours for the elderly to changes in store layouts to maximise the safety of colleagues and customers – Ireland’s retail sector is once again setting the standard for international retailers to follow.

During this rapid period of change, ShelfLife intends continuing to keep you in touch with all the latest developments affecting your industry – across both our digital and print platforms, as a reliable source of information you can trust.

Our upcoming April issue will contain both news and analysis that puts you and your concerns as retailers front and centre – arguably more important now than ever before.

At the current moment, when the general public now truly appreciates the efforts you are making on a daily basis to keep providing them with an essential service, ShelfLife would like to share how proud we are of you all. We’re proud to be the voice that reflects your views and we want to do that better than ever before.

If there’s any way we can help, or if you have any suggestions as to how we can improve our service to our valued readers, please do get in touch.

Stay safe everyone!
