Nestlé and Now TV to give away passes in on-pack promotion

Nestlé UK and Ireland has partnered with Now TV for an on-pack promotion giving away passes to the online streaming service. The promotion will see KitKat, Aero, Yorkie, Toffee Crisp And Rowntree’s Fruit Pastilles offer consumers the chance to win a one-month Now TV Entertainment Pass worth €15. Thousands of passes will be up for grabs every hour for 12 weeks*. Packs are widely available for purchase now. To enter, consumers simply need to go online and input a code found on the inside of a promotional wrapper. They will find out instantly if they are a winner.

Lidl launches additional We Love Summer products

Lidl is helping turn gardens into mini waterparks this summer with its wide range of summer fun products. These include the Jungle/Pirate Ship Paddling Pool (€39.99), Jungle Water Slide, Inflatable Water Games, folding chairs, hammocks and more. As well as these, Lidl is offfering two-person kayaks and dinghys for days at the beach, parasols and beach shelters, skim boards and the all-important suncream. Lidl’s summer range is available in 160 stores across Ireland for alimited time.

The campaign is based on the belief that life is worth living to the full.  Dubliner Whiskey collaborates with craft brewers for limited-edition cask series

Dubliner Irish Whiskey has collaborated with some of Ireland’s leading craft brewers to create The Dubliner Whiskey Beer Cask Series, an exciting limited-edition range whereby the award-winning Irish whiskey is aged in beer casks, and craft beers aged in whiskey casks. This unique coming together of The Dubliner Irish Whiskey with like-minded, local craft breweries, is the brainchild of Dublin Liberties Distillery’s Master Distiller, Darryl McNally. It will be available for purchase at The Dubliner’s newly-opened distilerry in Dublin 8 later this year.

Kai Restaurant Cracks Bord Bia ‘Eggs for Anytime’ Chef Competition

Kai Restaurant in Galway has been announced as winner of the “Eggs for Anytime” Chef competition, in association with Bord Bia and the Irish Egg Association. The competition invited chefs from around the country to embrace the culinary versatility of eggs and create an “eggciting recipe” with Bord Bia Quality Assured eggs that would feature on their restaurant menu, outside of breakfast and brunch. Kai’s winning dish was Pork Ramen with Bord Bia Quality Assured Eggs, created by owner and head chef Jess Murphy.
