Today FM weather will be sponsored by Dairygold Soft Real Butter for six months, reaching over half a million listeners each day

Dairygold Soft Real Butter is sponsor of Today FM Weather for the next six months, as of Monday 5 January. Recent JNLR figures show that 549,000 listeners tune in daily to the national station and over 1 million tune in each week.

The contract, which is to last for the first half of 2009, is valued in excess of €200,000. Todayfm Weather reports run daily from 6am until midnight and offer is great exposure to the key demographic of 20 to 44 year olds, providing Dairygold Soft Real Butter with the type of reach and frequency that will create a very high awareness nationally.

Today FM sponsorship manager Frank Dillon comments: “We are delighted to have secured Dairygold as sponsor of our weather bulletins. Both Dairygold and Today FM are hugely successful Irish brands. Today FM is the number one radio station for under 45s in Ireland and we are sure that this partnership will be mutually beneficial for both parties.”
