Vada Pow is an Irish company established in 2016, selling a range of Bombay Style Street Food as a meat-free alternative, using wholefood ingredients.

Like many successful food producers, Vada Pow started life in a small batch production in Bray, Co Wicklow. It began supplying to SuperValu stores in Dublin and Fresh Good Food Market.

Eventually, Vada Pow began scaling up, and its products are made at an industrial production facility and a potato farm factory in Co Meath, where the brand owners closely work with a farming family providing quality potatoes all year round.
Vada Pow recently launched two frozen products: Spiced Potato Cakes and Sweet Potato Burgers, with the assistance of the Lidl Kickstart program. This eventually led to a full-time listing nationwide with Lidl.
“Thanks to all our customers who have bought Vada Pow in Lidl so far,” said Naveen Bachani, founder of Vada Pow. “Lidl has given us another opportunity this year to showcase our range in the fresh category. With the support of Lidl Kickstart 2019, we are launching our three new products within Indian street food: Mumbai Veggie Samosa, Mumbai Spring Roll and Mumbai Pan Pulao.”
