Tesco opens new store in Clonmagadden, creates 23 new jobs

Tesco has recently opened a new store new store at Cluain Adáin, Clonmagadden, creating 23 new jobs.
This is the retailer’s second store in Navan and its sixth store in the county, boosting local employment to over 280.
Debbie Comiskey, store manager has been with Tesco Ireland for 15 years and has previously managed several stores across Dublin.
On behalf of the team at the new Navan store she said that they are “looking forward to getting to know their new customers and becoming part of the local community in Clonmagadden”.
Local community
Through its Stronger Starts community strategy, Tesco highlighted that it champion’s children’s health at both national and local levels.
In Navan, Tesco supports Scoil Naomh Eoin through Stronger Starts Food, providing free fresh fruit and vegetables to children who need it most, it added.
The retailer noted that it also supports community projects including Scoil Naomh Eoin, St Oliver Plunkett National School, and St Paul’s Primary School through its blue token Community Fund.
It also fundraises for its charity partner Children’s Health Foundation and donates surplus food each evening for redistribution.
