Tanja Buwalda has been appointed general manager of Cork and Dublin-based Power Media, with over 10 years experience in marketing and communications within the FMCG industry, including roles at Procter & Gamble, Saatchi & Saatchi, and as brand manager at Johnson & Johnson. Buwalda now joins the Power Media team following five years as a restaurateur, during which time she also operated a communications consultancy, building brand strategy and communications plans for SME’s in the Cork region. In her new role at Power Media she will oversee its expansion in Limerick, while also running its headquarters in Cork, and Dublin and London offices.
