Sweet advice from Germany at Food & Hospitality Ireland 2015

RS_sweets‘Sweets from Germany’, a confectionary showcase event, will be held on Wednesday, 16 September, organised by the German-Irish Chamber of Industry and Commerce. This half-day event takes place at the Food & Hospitality Exhibition in the Citywest Conference Centre in Dublin, with the aim of establishing and maintaining German-Irish business relationships in the confectionery sector.

The key to this showcase event is combining expertise from Germany and Ireland. The German- Irish Chamber has confirmed expert guest speakers, including Benedict Daniels, commercial director at Ritter Sport; Karin Stieldorf, project manager of the Sweets Export Guide, and Miriam Tuomey, sector manager of the Food and Beverage Division at Bord Bia.

The event will be held in the Avoca Room at Citywest Conference Centre, from 8.30am to 1.30pm, and includes a networking  exchange accompanied by a light lunch. A team from the German-Irish Chamber will also be available at their Stand B13 at the Food & Hospitality Ireland Food Fair 2015, on 16 – 17 September. The ‘Sweets from Germany’ event is funded by the German Ministry of Food and Agriculture.
