Innovative Irish meat and meat-alternative producer Rudd’s is celebrating 50 years in business with a new campaign, a new look and an expanded range.

From humble beginnings on the Rudd family pig farm in Offaly in 1973, the brand has not stood still and has continued to innovate to meet the changing dietary needs of Irish consumers. Rudd’s has recently expanded its range to not only offer quality Irish breakfast meats but also a range of tasty meat-alternatives and innovative functional products for consumers.

The brand, which was acquired by Loughnane’s of Galway in 2017, has recently welcomed one of the youngest members of the Rudd family, Simon Rudd, back to continue to grow the business in Ireland. Following a recent brand refresh, the company is launching a new marketing campaign with the tagline, ‘Rudd’s, For Goodness Sake.

Simon Rudd said: “While the Rudd’s name was built on our exceptional range of sausages and pudding, we are much more than that. When my parents started to produce the Rudd’s range from our own pig farm in 1973, they were determined to create and share good food to support a good life. Everything they did was based on one simple concept: goodness.

“The Rudd’s range has greatly expanded under the guidance of Loughnane’s who share the same ethos and integrity which our family had when we started the business. With our expanded range, we are proud to offer something to meet the needs of everyone, from meat eaters to plant-based alternative seekers, but we are still driven by the desire to provide goodness for everyone at the table. We are excited to roll out our new marketing campaign ‘For Goodness Sake’ which communicates both our brand values and our deep roots in Ireland for the last 50 years.”

Rudd’s is traditionally known for its dry cured bacon, sausages, and best-selling black and white puddings. Its Chef’s Table range is a more exclusive offering which allows the Rudd’s team to innovate and be creative. Meanwhile, Plantiful is Rudd’s plant-based range featuring a range of plant-based breakfast and dinner meats. Lastly Eat Well focuses on functional foods containing high iron, high protein, and lean meat options.

As part of the ‘For Goodness Sake’ campaign, Rudd’s is giving away 5 x €500 shopping vouchers on the @ruddsfood Instagram page.
