Gary Lavin, created the low calorie vitamin drink Vitz, later rebranded as Vithit, an overnight success with soaring sales. In 2007, Gary then launched Organic Fanatic, organic juice drinks now distributed in 800 stores throughout Ireland and stocked in all top stores in Paris, Poland and the Czech Republic.
With turnover over €580,000, sales have risen 120% this year. The company plans to extend the range and take Organic Fanatic to Spain, Denmark, Germany and Sweden within the next six months, with plans also to have a large UK listing in 2009.
