Flora launches new ‘Gold from Flora’ – a blend of butter and Flora

Gold from Flora is a new blend of golden butter and Flora, offering a rich, creamy taste that everyone in the family will love. Made with a blend of butter, sunflower oil and other vegetable oils, Gold from Flora gives consumers the creamy, luxurious taste of butter they want, with 40% less saturated fat than block butter. Gold from Flora is available in 400g tubs (RRP €2.99) in supermarkets and in 225g (RRP €1.75) tubs in convenience stores.

Glenilen Farm goes Light and launches low fat yoghurt range

Glenilen Farm, tomorrow on 23 September, at The National Ploughing Championships, will exclusively preview and launch Glenilen Farm Light;  a new range of low fat, live yoghurt pots which are lighter than ever at just 1% fat and less sugar than the original range. The 450g range is available in four flavours – Strawberry, Blueberry, Rhubarb and Natural. Each flavoured pack is priced at €2.25 with the natural variety retailing at €1.99. The Light range will be available to purchase in stores from 6 October.

Captain Morgan and Richard Fink IV set new world record for International Talk Like A Pirate Day

The world’s most famous pirate, Captain Morgan docked in Dublin last week to celebrate International Talk Like A Pirate Day which was celebrated all over the globe on Friday, 19 September. This year Captain Morgan challenged renowned New York celebrity voice coach Richard Fink IV to beat the existing official Guinness World Record for the longest continuous vocal scream…or as the Captain would say, the longest ‘aaaaarrrggghh’! Happily, he smashed the existing record (25 seconds), setting a new Guinness World Record of 39.84 seconds.

Repak wants Irish consumers to make us Europe’s top recycler

Five D8 distillers and brewers join forces for culture night
