Silk Tree non-alcoholic spirit promotes “mindful drinking”

Silk Tree, Ireland’s first non-alcoholic spirit, will host a Mindful Drinking event at House, 27 Leeson Street, Dublin 2 to help start 2019 with a new alternative. The brand’s intention is to celebrate the growing demand for  alcohol-free alternatives, while Silk Tree founders Tracey  Cassidey and Andrew Oates will tell the story of the brand and demonstrate some remarkable non-alcoholic cocktails.

Dundalk  F.C. to host “Family Fan Day” alongside sponsor Fyffes  

The Dundalk FC squad and Fyffes will welcome fans to Oriel Park at a special event this monthBanana importer and Dundalk  F.C. club sponsor Fyffes is teaming up with the club to host a Family Fan Day event at Oriel Park at midday on Sunday, 27 January. Designed as an open-door, free-to-all event, the occasion is designed to attract supporters, families, amateur players and the community alike, allowing all present to get an insight into what it takes to be a championship winning team and achieve success in two of Ireland’s toughest sporting competitions.

Marking the first joint initiative between Dundalk FC and Fyffes since their renewed sponsorship, the event is intended as the first step in giving back to the community by Fyffes, ahead of what will be a challenging new season for the team.

ReturnPal to Sender! An Post service turns online shopping regrets into simple returns

An Post has launched ReturnPal, a simple solution for Ireland’s online returns, a new service for unsatisfied online shoppers to return their unwanted or unsuitable online purchases. The app is free to download from the Apple Store and Google Play Store. Once registered, online shoppers can have their items collected by An Post from an address of their choosing and returned directly to the retailer from which the goods came.
