Gino’s Gelato and Temple St. Children’s Hospital celebrate World Gelato Day

This Saturday 15th July marks World Gelato Day. To celebrate, Gino’s Gelato will be donating €1 from the sale of every large gelato to Temple Street Children’s Hospital. Until August 31st, Gino’s Gelato will donate a percentage of all sales of its large gelato cones and tubs to Temple Street to help raise funds for vital equipment for the Children’s Hospital.

Cuisine de France hosts Bastille Day celebrations in Dublin

In celebration of Bastille Day on 14th July, Cuisine de France entertained France’s Ambassador to Ireland Mr. Stéphane Crouzat with breakfast at ‘La Petit Boulangerie by Cuisine de France’ at No. 9, Camden Street. Mr. Crouzat, is pictured here with Peter Jackson, Managing Director, ARYZTA Food Solutions Europe and Nigel Scully, Managing Director, ARYZTA Food Solutions Ireland enjoying a signature Croffle at the pop-up café which is running until July 22. The event also showcased a number of Cuisine de France’s latest innovations in bakery and beyond.

 

Cadbury’s rolls out a special and a half with its new campaign

Cadbury has gone all out with its spectacular new campaign for Dairy Milk. Digital screens incorporating Augmented Reality and huge billboards are all part of this fun and ambitious campaign, whereby Design+ combined the 96 Sheet and 48 Sheet on Dublin’s Talbot Street into one combined display. It illustrates a glass and a half of milk being poured, the amount of milk that goes into every bar of Dairy Milk. With its distinctive branding incorporated, Cadbury expects instant familiarity and absorption of the ad. Cadbury is also bringing a little sparkle to Wexford Street with the biggest “Spangley special” ever displayed in Ireland. With over 32,000 discs used, the special located on Wexford Street is a show stopper.

Kilmeaden Cheese introduces new premium ziplock packaging across entire range

Kilmeaden has introduced new ziplock packaging across the entire range, encapsulating “the heritage, craft and tradition that goes into every single block of Kilmeaden.” The new ziplock packaging now allows consumers to seal in the flavour and taste, ensuring each packet can be enjoyed to the fullest. To tie in with the announcement of the new ziplock function, Kilmeaden Cheese commissioned international food sculpture artist Prudence Staite to create a stunning life size replica of the historical Greek mythical ‘Discobolus’ statue using 100kg of Kilmeaden Cheese.

Pressed juice brand Sisú launches debut summertime campaign

Health and wellbeing brand SiSú has announced its first campaign. The campaign Summertime with SiSú features bottles of its great-tasting cold pressed juice, captured in vibrant scenes depicting sporting activity, creatively made up with fruit and vegetables. SiSú’s cold pressed juice is its first product range and already has gained a significant following in Ireland due to its delicious taste and being 100% natural, hitting all the touch-points of the health and wellbeing trend.

 

Mediavest rebrands globally as Spark Foundry

Mediavest is this week rebranding globally as Spark Foundry, with Mediavest Dublin taking on the new name and identity with immediate effect. Mediavest has been in the Irish market since 1999 and was the first media agency set up within what has grown to be Core Media, Ireland’s largest marketing communications group. The agency plans to move away from focusing solely on media and investment, with its remit now including areas such as analytics, technology and information, insights and content. Spark Foundry’s clients include Aviva, BWG, ESB Group, Mars Ireland Ltd, P&G, The Road Safety Authority, Three and Ulster Bank, with Irish Distillers Pernod Ricard being their most recent win.
