Retailers can help reduce plastic to landfill by stocking the Irish sustainable bamboo toothbrush

If each of the world’s seven billion people were to use just one toothbrush annually this would generate 100,000 tonnes of plastic waste each year. In response to alarming facts like this, Irish ‘ecopreneur’ Dylan Regan has developed a new sustainable toothbrush featuring a 100% Moso bamboo handle and soft bristles enhanced with activated bamboo charcoal, which is naturally effective at fighting plaque and can help whiten teeth by absorbing tannins.

VirtueBrush, which retails at €5.95, is currently stocked in a number of retailers including SuperValu, Churchtown, Dublin 14, several Meagher’s Pharmacies, and hotels. For more information visit: www.virtuebrush.com.
