Deep RiverRock: All flavours, Sugar-Free with no calories
Deep RiverRock, ever passionate about “encouraging hydration”, has launched its latest innovation: flavoured Deep RiverRock, sugar free and with no calories. Forest Fruits and Lemon & Lime will relaunch this month, joining Deep RiverRock Strawberry to offer full zero-sugar range of great-tasting flavoured water, all with no calories.
Oonagh Gildea, Deep RiverRock Marketing Manager said; “Over the last number of years, Deep RiverRock has invested in innovation to expand the range and offer a greater number of great tasting flavoured variants.
“We are committed to continuing our innovation into 2017, to offer increasing options for healthy beverages,” Gildea said.
Alpro Enters Ice-Cream Market
Alpro, producer of a wide range of food and drink, has launched a brand new Ice Cream range in Tesco Ireland. The range includes 100% plant-based three variants: Soya Vanilla, Hazelnut Chocolate and Coconut, all of which are debuting in stores with an RRP of €5.
National Quality Milk Awards presented to Farmers
The winners of the NDC & Kerrygold Quality Milk Awards were announced in DubliN on 4 October, with presentations to 10 of Ireland’s top dairy farms by hurling legend Henry Shefflin. Winners Tom and Moya Power were accompanied by Tom’s parents Jim and Brid Power and received a prize of €5,000 and the coveted NDC & Kerrygold Quality Milk Awards perpetual cup.
Topaz reveals summer lineup of Play or Park winners
Topaz, Ireland’s leading fuel and convenience retailer, has revealed that three of its customers have won all-expenses-paid, once in a lifetime trips to some of the world’s most exciting destinations. Prasad Rao from Meath and their partner are jetting off on an African Safari, while Cork’s Fiona Curley (pictured) and her sister will be diving in the Great Barrier Reef. Kerry and Cork businesses awarded All-Ireland Carvery of the Year Awards
The Heights Hotel in Killarney, Co. Kerry and The Elm Tree, Glounthaune, Cork have been named as the best hotel and pub in the country to serve carvery in this year’s Knorr Great Carvery of the Year competition. The winners were unveiled by Welsh international rugby referee Nigel Owens at the KNORR Great Carvery of the Year Grand Final at the Herbert Park Hotel in Dublin. Launched in 2010 by Unilever Food Solutions Ireland, the Knorr Great Carvery of the Year is an all-island search for Ireland’s best pub and hotel carvery; the meal is an institution, with 25% eating carvery once a week.
Santa Rita Autumn campaign launched
Chilean wine outfit Santa Rita Estates has unveiled its autumn 2016 promotional campaign for their brands in the Republic of Ireland. The focus of the campaign will primarily be based around a strategic alliance with RTÉ, with the Santa Rite 120 brand set to partner up with a number of popular prime time quality dramas. ‘Living La Vida 120’ showcases Santa Rita 120 in autumnal environments and dovetails in with an international marketing campaign, while individual sponsorship of a number of programmes will also take place.
Fyffes invites families to “Bring Freddie”
Banana importer Fyffes is inviting children and parents to ‘Bring Freddy On An Adventure’ in a new retailer-based consumer competition. Running in Dunnes Stores, SuperValu and more until December, the competition forms part of Fyffes recently-introduced ‘Discover More’ brand communications initiative. Throughout the period, all ready-packed bags of Freddy Fyffes bananas will carry one of six Freddy Fyffes ‘explorer’ stickers, each one illustrated to show the playful character dressed to go exploring various pursuits from scuba diving to space travel.
