Londis reveals new look private label range

Londis has unveiled the Group’s new look private label range of products that will launch in all stores in the coming weeks.
The complete redesign of the Londis private label range brings greater coherence and consistency to close to 200 own-brand products with a new identity across the entire range.
The Londis own label range has grown considerably in recent years as the Group exploits the benefits of its nationwide centralised ambient and chill distribution facilities. This investment by Londis in its own-brand packaging identity ensures that Londis retailers are bringing a strong, cohesive range of own-brand product to Irish consumers.
The Londis private label range provides consumers with popular, everyday products at affordable prices. The range includes high quality everyday items essential to consumers’ shopping lists including; fruit and vegetables, meat and a range of dairy products. With the new packaging design, the range gains more on shelf standout and presence whilst also educating customers as to the wide variety of private label product lines available in every Londis store. The design systems used will allow Londis to adapt and expand designs quickly as the range grows.
Commenting on the launch of the new private label range, Londis chief executive, Stephen O’Riordan, said: “The launch of our new look private label range is a significant milestone for the Group and our retailers. The Londis private label range gives consumers a large range of trusted daily essentials and with our new designs, consumers can quickly and efficiently recognise Londis private label products helping them to stretch their budgets to enjoy even more value for money.”
Londis’ private label range will be available in the group’s network of stores from 19 January and will support over 18 local Irish manufacturers.
Londis’ new private label range is the latest of the groups ‘Local like You’ initiatives. The groups ‘Local like You’ campaign, which was launched in 2013 seeks to highlight how Londis retailers add local value in many different ways to local communities around Ireland.
