LEAD Network Ireland Chapter have launched free Menopause Policy Guide for small and medium sized companies in the retail and consumer goods industry.

The guide, which has been developed by HR experts across a range of leading companies, will be available to all LEAD Network members to avail of completely free of charge.

To launch the playbook LEAD Network are hosting a free webinar presented by The Menopause Hub’s Loretta Dignam on Thursday, 10^t August to discuss The Cost of the Hidden Menopause.

With over 40 symptoms caused by changing hormone levels, menopause can have a significant impact on work.

84% of women say menopause affects their performance and menopause often hits at the peak of women’s careers, pushing some to make difficult choices.

Up to 10% leave the workplace and 34% consider leaving due to symptoms.

The guide has been developed to help organisations create supportive environments with policies, resources and culture to ensure Irish businesses can retain top female talent.
