The Jameson Distillery at Bow Street, Dublin, home of the world-famous Irish whiskey, will invite visitors to experience the art of whiskey blending first-hand as part of its masterclass The Whiskey Maker – a perfect christmas gift for any whiskey enthusiast.

Known as The Whiskey Makers and hosted by a Jameson craft ambassador, the attraction is an immersive and interactive 90-minute experience which includes the opportunity for guests to create their own unique blend of Irish whiskey. The masterclass includes a premium whiskey tasting experience, a blending session, and a visit to Dublin’s only live maturation warehouse, where visitors will have the opportunity to sample whiskey straight from the cask.

John Carroll, marketing & sales manager, Jameson Brand Homes called the Whiskey Makers a deep dive into the art of whiskey making. “As part of the masterclass,” Carroll said, “guests will learn how to recognise the ingredients, craft and flavour notes of each whiskey before getting to blend their own to bring home and proudly display in their drinks cabinet.”

The Jameson Distillery Bow St. offers five fully-hosted tours: The flagship ‘Bow St. Experience’ tasting tour focuses on the stories of Jameson’s rich heritage and on-going innovations, while the ‘Whiskey Makers’ and the ‘Whiskey Shakers’ experiences provide more in-depth whiskey and cocktail masterclasses, a premium whiskey tasting in “John Jameson’s secret office” and a visit to Dublin’s only live Maturation Warehouse with the opportunity to sample whiskey straight from a cask.

“As Jameson continues its phenomenal growth story,” John Carroll added, “the Jameson brand home places storytelling at the core of the visitor experience. Whether it’s the distillery tour, a tasting experience, the blending masterclass or something more, you can experience it all in Bow St.”

The Whiskey Makers costs €60 and tickets are available to book online on www.jamesonwhiskey.com.
