Kerrygold has recently announced the launch of its first-ever premium cheese range in Ireland, with a pop-up tasting experience in the heart of Dublin city.

In what marks its most ambitious year of innovation to date with the launch of its new premium cheese range this summer, Kerrygold is inviting cheese-lovers to come taste and experience the new gold standard in cheese first-hand at a special pop-up in Powerscourt Townhouse Centre from July 14 to 16.

Best known locally as Ireland’s favourite butter brand, Kerrygold has also long been a go-to for premium Irish grass-fed cheeses in international markets, including in the US where Kerrygold Dubliner is the number one specialty cheddar.

Quality in premium cheese

Now, in what marks an exciting first for the brand in Ireland, Kerrygold will bring its craft, heritage and quality in premium cheese to Irish supermarkets and shoppers.

At the heart of the range is Kerrygold’s distinct rich and creamy taste which can be enjoyed across 15 different varieties, each with distinct flavour profiles and maturity levels.

From Mature, Reserve and Vintage to Red and White Cheddar, the range also includes bold options such as Cracked Black Pepper and Red Chilli.

Completing the line-up is the much-loved Dubliner cheese range, now under the Kerrygold brand in Ireland for the first time with a refreshed look, while retaining its signature recipe and distinct taste.

Every cheese in the range is hand-selected by Kerrygold’s Master Graders, whose decades of experience ensure exceptional flavour, texture and consistency.

Crafted with care, each delivers the unmistakable Kerrygold quality in every rich and creamy bite.

Whether it ends up on a sharing board, melted into a comforting macaroni cheese, or simply enjoyed on the go, the range is designed to elevate every mealtime occasion.

Lynne Andrews, marketing director, Ornua Foods Europe, said: “People already know Kerrygold for quality and taste, and we’re excited to bring that same standard to cheese for Irish shoppers.

“The pop-up is a great chance for people to come along, try the range, and experience what Kerrygold cheese is all about.”

About the pop-up taste experience

The Kerrygold ‘Say Cheese, Think Kerrygold’ pop-up taste experience invites guests to sample four standout cheeses from the range, including Kerrygold Vintage Cheddar, Kerrygold Reserve Cheddar, Kerrygold Dubliner Vintage and Kerrygold Dubliner Signature.

Each tasting is served with crackers, fresh fruit and a selection of Ballymaloe relishes.

Lynne Andrews said: “Think of it as a curated cheeseboard, on us.

“There are spot prizes to be won on the day too, and of course, the “Say Cheese, Think Kerrygold” photo booth, because great cheese deserves a moment to be savoured.

“If you were lucky enough to make it to Kerrygold’s bagel bar pop-up in 2024, you know how quickly they sold out so our suggestion is get there early!”

The ‘Say Cheese, Think Kerrygold’ Pop-Up will run from 14th to 16th July 2026 at Powerscourt Townhouse Centre, 13 Clarendon Street, Dublin 2, from 12pm daily until sold out.

The Kerrygold Premium Cheese range is now available in retailers nationwide.
