The Irish Pubs Global Federation is holding its second Gathering event in Dublin on the 27 and 28 February in the Convention Centre Dublin. The international conference and trade-only show is a two day event which is open to the off-trade, pub owners and bar and restaurant managers to learn more about new products, improving their businesses and profit through targeted tutorials and gives them an opportunity to network with like-minded individuals and groups.

The last two events in Dublin really captured the interest and the imagination of the drinks and hospitality trade. They have grown significantly in membership, size, activity and credibility in the last 18 months.

There is a strong line-up of topics and speakers as well as an excellent selection of sponsors and exhibitors including Diageo, Ol Irish, Irish craft brewers, food producers, drinks distributors, suppliers in the POS, equipment, cleaning and décor sectors etc. There will also be tutorials on Irish whiskey, craft beers and other supplies and services into the sector.

Attendance is free of charge for the off-trade and visitors will also have free access to the brilliant Alltech Craft Brews and Food Fair where over 80 Irish and international craft breweries, distilleries and artisan food companies will be sampling their products to the trade. The Alltech Craft Brews and Food Fair is the brainchild of Irish entrepreneur Dr Pearse Lyons of the Lexington Brewing company. Dr Lyons has been championing the Irish craft brewery sector for the last year and this gives brewers and distillers a platform to showcase their drinks to the public.
