Having nailed the recipe for the perfect cookie dough, Dublin’s award-winning Hot Chip has now launched a super-convenient new range of ready-to-bake dough balls in 81 select Tesco stores across the country and online at www.hotchipdublin.com – making it easier than ever before to enjoy the brand’s warm, fresh from the oven cookies at home as an everyday indulgence.

The handy new dough balls range comes in three rich and luxurious award-winning flavours; Original Chocolate Chip, White Chocolate Chip, and Hot Chip’s brand new Salted Caramel, which recently received 2-stars – signifying it as an “outstanding” product – at the Great Taste Awards 2023.

They’re the perfect treat to have to hand, especially in the run up to Christmas, with each 270g pack containing six conveniently pre-portioned handmade dough balls – enough to make six medium-sized cookies – which can be easily stored in the consumer’s fridge for up to 10 weeks, or their freezer, where the dough will keep for months until ready to use.

Whenever your shoppers get a craving for cookies, baking them is a breeze. All they need to do is simply place the fool-proof dough balls onto a baking sheet and pop them into a preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or alternatively into an air fryer for 8 to 10 minutes, and indulge in all of the gooey goodness.

Hot Chip’s gourmet quality handmade cookie dough is lovingly crafted using the best of ingredients, including a decadent combination of real Irish butter and luxurious Belgian chocolate, plus it’s completely free from any artificial colours, flavours or preservatives.

Individual 270g packs of Hot Chip’s new ready-to-bake cookie dough balls are now stocked in 81 select Tesco stores across the country, exclusively for a period of three months. The Original Chocolate Chip and White Chocolate Chip flavours are priced at €4.99 each, with the Salted Caramel cookie dough balls costing €5.50 per pack. All three come in fully recyclable packaging. A full list of the 81 Tesco stores stocking the new range is available to view online at www.hotchipdublin.com.

And, for those who can’t make it to a Tesco store, Hot Chip will gladly come to you. The brand’s three-pack bundles (270g per pack), containing your preferred combination of flavours from Original Chocolate Chip, White Chocolate Chip, and Salted Caramel, are priced at €16.99 plus postage and are available to order online for nationwide home delivery via their website, www.hotchipdublin.com. With the option of also including a free personalised handwritten note as part of an order, Hot Chip’s home deliveries make for a truly thoughtful and convenient Christmas gift for any cookie lover.

Commenting on the launch of the new product range and the exclusive partnership with Tesco, Hot Chip’s founder, David McSharry, said: “We are delighted to be launching this exciting new Hot Chip product onto Tesco’s shelves in the lead up to Christmas time as they’re the perfect treat to have in the fridge or freezer for the busy festive period.

“We have listened to our customers’ feedback and think the product will be a hit given how simple and convenient it is,” he added. “All three flavours have won Great Taste Awards, and we are particularly excited for customers to try our brand new Salted Caramel flavour which picked up two stars at the coveted awards last month. At Hot Chip, we are all about quality and creating the best tasting products using the best ingredients, so we are thrilled Tesco have recognised that and given us this amazing opportunity.”
