Dunnes reportedly to close Cornelscourt Village grocery store tomorrow
It is believed that the Irish retailer is set to close a further two outlets by the end of October

Dunnes Stores is reportedly set to close it’s Cornelscourt Village, South Dublin grocery store tomorrow (24 October).
The outlet is located in close proximity to the large Dunnes Stores supermarket in Cornelscourt Shopping Centre, on the Bray Rd, Dublin 18.
The Irish retailer is due to shut another two stores on Friday, 31 October, reports RTÉ.ie.
This includes one of the two Dunnes Stores located in the Ilac Centre, Henry St. Dublin city centre, and the outlet on West Street in Drogheda, Co Louth.
According to RTÉ is it understood some workers in the shops that are closing have already been offered redeployment to other Dunnes outlets.
Ireland’s top grocer
Dunnes currently holds 24.4% of the grocery market share, with sales growth of 6.2% year-on-year, according to the latest data from Worldpanel by Numerator.
In the four weeks to 5 October 2025, larger trips contributed an additional €5.1 million to its overall performance.
