Diarmuid O’Leary joins The Star Newspaper Group
Previously in advertising at UTV Radio Solutions, O'Leary comes to The Star team as the new advertising sales director

. He joins the team from UTV Radio Solutions, formerly BMS, where he occupied a similar role.
Prior to working as sales director in BMS, Diarmuid worked in Newstalk 106 as head of sales and started his media career as business development manager in Today FM.
Diarmuid is a graduate of Galway RTC and holds a BA in Hotel & Catering Management. He also holds a post graduate diploma in Marketing Practice from the UCD Michael Smurfit School of Business. In his new role, Diarmuid will be responsible for advertising sales for both The Irish Daily Star and Star Sunday.
